'Roses All the Way' Soap (LUSH)

Roses All the Way Soap

The new Valentines day range arrived in Lush a few weeks ago. I took a trip last week and found all the pretty goodies staring at me. They were all so beautiful, and one of my favourite products is Roses All the Way. The price is £4.25 for 100g.

The soap is supposed to look like the roses out of Alice in Wonderland, and give the impression they have been painted like in the story. The 'roses' sit on a sheet of green soap, which is supposedly being cut up after Valentines and being donated to charities. The green soap is unscented and gives the rose soaps a beautiful look.

Each soap is handmade and handprinted. They are all the same size and the same shape, which is lightly different to the soaps Lush makes now.

The soap before I used it. It is a beautiful shade of red/pink.
When you pick up the soap, it smells simple and clean. There isn't a strong or overriding smell which I could sense when I first smelled it.

It lathered quite well when I used it but I wouldn't say it had the same lather as Yog Nog or Sticky Banana.

The smell suddenly changed when I used it with water. The rose scent heightened and it was really lovely. It wasn't too sweet or too floral; just a simple and pure smell.

The soap slowly fades to white as you use it more.
After the first use, the soap lost the red/pink colour it first had. I knew this was supposed to happen, as the colour is supposed to fade to a white as you use it more, but it was still a surprise.

It gave a special element to the soap and I can see why this is a Valentines product. The pink it fades to is so pretty and beautiful. I found it left a lovely smell on my skin. It left my skin feeling soft and moisturised after I used it.

Overall, this soap is amazing and the way it fades it very beautiful. I would rate this a 10/10 for the price and how luxurious this makes you feel.

My New Beauty Blog!

Hello internet,

2015 was a strange year for me, but it was one where I found my love to Instagram my Lush and my beauty posts. I finally found a community where I was accepted and loved.

This quickly became a real love of mine and soon I was videoing my experiences. I started YouTube roughly in November, but possibly earlier (don't quote me on that).

My mad brain decided it was time to adopt a blogspot and finally write down everything I do with Lush and beauty products on a day to day basis. I've ran one or two blogs in my time but this was my huge step into blogging.

So here I go, world. Join me on this new and exciting adventure!
